We use an ancient “resist” textile paint technique to create a wide range of unique products. We call our work “functional art”. All fabrics are painted by hand unlike screen printing. The technique is often mistaken for batik. Instead of wax we use a flour mixture that is applied with syringes to the fabric free hand. Once dry the fabric is painted and processed to ensure colour fastness. Flour is then removed to reveal the final product. Ready to be transformed into our range of products. The textiles are colour fast and can be machine washed at a low heat. We recommend for products not to be tumble dried to preserve the texture of the natural fabrics.
